Robotware Dispense Restart

We are using robotware dispense for a gluing application. Activated the type 2 restart and got the gun on anticipate so there is no gap in the dispense when stopping and restarting. There is an issue that when the robot gets a stop the pump stays on for about 0.25 seconds and makes a large blob of adhesive. Is there a way to command the pump to turn off immediately on a stop?

    Look into your equipment data.  You could also do a cross connection for the pump on signal.

    Doing a cross connection between the applicator open signal and the stop input to the robot solved this issue. It allows a quicker command to our dispense unit which helps counteract its slow response. Thanks for the suggestion @lemster68
