Which is best and effective way to create an accurate Workobject for a precise robotic drilling application ?

  • Start by checking your calibration offsets.  Make sure that the robot's axis alignment markers line up when robot is at zero position.  Teach a good tcp.  If the fixture or part has three distinct features which can be used and documented as used then you teach it to the part or fixture.  Otherwise you may want to have a jig or overlay that has the points to which you teach.  Document that and safely store it for future use.
