ABB Safemove
in IRC5
Could any one explain the difference between Safemove1 and Safemove2. Is it same as Safemove Basic and Safemove Pro?
How to generate safety config report in Safemove1 format?
I have posted this query before no response form anyone. Admin could you provide some insight in to this please?

Hi
Safemove 1 Board is installed behind the axiscomputer and all safe signals must be hardwired. The Option can be used for all IRC5 controllers down to RW5.10.02. The safety functions are more or less then same than with Safemove 2.
Safemove 2 Board is a PCI-card mounted in the maincomputer DSQC1018/1024. When safe signals are needed for external PLC you must have option Profinet / Profisafe F-Device on your robot. Safemove 2 is only available on newer IRC5 controllers with RW6.
Safemove Pro and Basic defines only the function package of Safemove 2 (see attached picture)
The safety report in Safemove 1 will be created automatically when you download a new safety configuration to the controller.
If your RS is connected to a controller with Safemove 1 you also can create it in Visual Safemove - Button "Show Report".
