problem with pack and go in RS2022.1 (bug?)

I always work with stations (not a fan of solutions) recently I used pack and go to back up one of my stations. Now I'm trying to restore it BUT the "unpack to a solution" check box is greyed out. Worse still it is checked, forcing me to unpack as a solution rather the in the original form (a station). Is this a bug in the version of RS i'm currently using?

    interestingly this only seems to be an issue with pack and go files created with this version of RS. The problem does not exist with older pack and go files.
