SearchL instruction & comments disappear

Hello,
Firstly, when i "synchronize to station" a program with searchL functions, i can see the searchL instruction in the path tree of the elements tool bar but the storage point used in the searchL instruction does not appear in the point data under the work object, shouldn't a empty point be generated?
Secondly when i open up ArcWeld i find that all my searchL instructions turn to moveL instructions in the path tree. I have created a process definition in the instruction template manager. What am i doing wrong?
Lastly when i load a program that has calculations and comments into robot studio, add some more points and then "synchronize to VC" all my calculations and comments are removed. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
