Access a cloud project

I am attempting to access a cloud project via the email link. when I click the link and attempt to login I get an error suggesting that the user account does not exist in tenant 'ABB' and cannot access the application.
If I opt to create a new account instead of log in, then it suggest the email is already in use.
Any thoughts?

    the email address is setup with myABB business portal, is this required to access cloud projects
