SmartComponent - Events for triggering a signal

Hi,

I'm quite new in programming and I just started with the development of SmartComponents.
I would like to check the position of a joint value. If it has reached a defined position, the SmartComponent should trigger a DigitalOutput (=limit switch).

My problem now is, how can I connect the joint value with a DynamicProperty? If this is possible, I could use the event "OnPropertyValueChanged" to trigger further methodes.

Hi DennisFR,

thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately I didn't get it.

My problem is when the mechanism is moved manual, there is no trigger to reset the limit switches. That means, even when the mechanism is not on a defined pose, the limit switch is still triggered.

Thats why I want to directly connect the axis values with the dynamic property of the SmartComponent.

If I got you wrong, could you please describe how you would trigger an event liked described above.

So do you develop your SmartComponent by yourself or you want to use RS ones?
