SmartComponent - Events for triggering a signal

Hi,
I'm quite new in programming and I just started with the development of SmartComponents.
I would like to check the position of a joint value. If it has reached a defined position, the SmartComponent should trigger a DigitalOutput (=limit switch).
My problem now is, how can I connect the joint value with a DynamicProperty? If this is possible, I could use the event "OnPropertyValueChanged" to trigger further methodes.
thanks, Henry

Hi DennisFR,thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately I didn't get it.My problem is when the mechanism is moved manual, there is no trigger to reset the limit switches. That means, even when the mechanism is not on a defined pose, the limit switch is still triggered.Thats why I want to directly connect the axis values with the dynamic property of the SmartComponent. If I got you wrong, could you please describe how you would trigger an event liked described above. Thanks a lot, Henry0

So do you develop your SmartComponent by yourself or you want to use RS ones?

I'm trying to develop them in Visual Studio.0

So you can have a look at how I've done in my GitHub
