10138: Program stopped

I had an intermittent failure on the ABB IRC5 robot (10138: Program stopped Description Task T_ROB1 stopped. The reason is that an stop occurred on the system input).

My initial question is if this failure comes from the PLC or the robot itself?

 This was not clear to me.

    one system input is connected with a external signal and the action is "stop".
    Look into configuration I/O-system system_input.
