[BUG] Spawned (Floating) windows: RAPID code will not react to either Format or Apply
In the current version of RobotStudio (RS) spawned windows (right click on tab - Float) RAPID code will not react to either Format or Apply commands. Instead the Floating windows must be redocked to the main body of RS to apply the commands.
It would be a great help to be able to use Format AND Apply in spawned (child) windows.
Also, trackball/mouse-controlled scroll zooming for configuration, IO, elements, etc. would also most welcome.

Hello SomeTekk,
I tried to reproduce this in RS2023.1 and it looks like Apply and Format work fine on floating windows.
Please verify.
Thanks!—Maxim RiabichevPC Software Support Engineer0 -
Yes, Format and Apply are working in the spawned windows in RS2023.1 .
I suspect the secondary, minor request will not be an easy task. RAPID seems freely formattable as such zooming in & out was an 'easy' implementation. Making the structured segments, i.e. Event log, IO System displays, Configuration domains, etc., zoomable with scroll wheels will not be seen any time soon I suspect.Post edited by SomeTekk on0
