Process trace simulation not working

I'm working with the 3DP powerpac in production mode. I can enter parts in the queue, and run those parts in simulation, no problem.
What doesn't work is the "Process Trace Simulation." No part is shown as it's created like it did when I exported the file and printed directly from RAPID.

Did you start the simulation before starting the print process?—Maxim RiabichevPC Software Support Engineer0

Hello,
It's difficult to say why this happens based on the information you've provided.
Did you follow some guide when you set your project up?—Maxim RiabichevPC Software Support Engineer0 -
Thank you for the speedy reply, Maxim!
In the 3DP PowerPac, there is a simple item on the ribbon bar called "Process Trace Simulation". When printing an object directly from a direct export to the virtual controller, selecting "Enable Trace" produces a visual image of the part as it's being printer.
However...
When I use the production screen tool on the ribbon bar, this visual image doesn't form. As far as my process, I'm simply going through the import and tuning of a g-code image as described in the 3DP operating manual.
The robot certainly goes through the motions, but without that image.
