Is that a real controller or a virtual controller in RS?Lee Justice0

real controller

In that case I would check to see if the controller has run out of storage space, if possible.Lee Justice0

I'm not sure storage space has got much to do with "Stationname must match if interfaces are the same" but there is loads of it

Yeah, I was overlooking that. What could station name mean? Do you have external axes in this setup?Lee Justice0

wish I new, it's just a robot with a built in io module and a profinet connection to a plc. It's a bit of a fundamental flaw if you cant restore the backup that was made the day before!0

Search the backup for Stationname.Lee Justice0

I have the same problem, when trying to send IO changes to the robot from ioEngineering. i get the error: 80001: Stationname must match if interfaces are the same
I cant find station name anywhere

so i think the station name gets assigned to the robot by the profinet plc. In the end we gave up trying to used profinet safety signals and hard wired it.0
