How to build a new system from the backup file?

Hello
I want to create a new system from the backup file. My backup file contains the robot and an external device. When creating the file to send to the controller, the robot itself is created, but the external device is not added. If you can help.

  • So you are wanting to create a virtual controller the same as your real controller?
    Can you help
How I can build it in virtual controller...
  • I have a six-axis robot that, in addition to its six axes, has a conveyor and another axis for discharging molten aluminum. When creating a new system from the backup file, RobotStudio builds the six-axis robot but does not create the other two axes. I can't figure out the reason. Please guide me.
  • Is the conveyor driven by a servo motor which is connected to an additional drive unit in the controller, or is it conveyor tracking via an encoder?
  • Yes, the conveyor is controlled by a drive in the robot controller itself. If needed, I can send the backup file.
  • You will need to create the mechanisms manually your self as RobotStudio can only automatically create the standard ABB items such as tracks and positioners which have models in the library.
There are two sections in the RobotStudio help under the building stations section look for configuring conveyor tracking:

and under the modeling section create mechanism
