Showing Checksum failed on IRC5 teach pendant when we switch on the Robot

Hi,
Have you ever faced this issue when we turned on the power and on teach pendant it shows bootloader integrity error. Checksum failed..

I found a case in our support database with similar error "Checksum Error on Record _will Restart".
The solution in this case was to cold start the controller and reload the Robotware - you need to make sure you have a recent good backup before doing this..
This was after they had tried the following with no success:
- Connected another pendant.
- Forced the original pendant to reload its software image = Power off,  then on the TPU-3 press & hold the STOP button and Programmable key 1 button then Power on (there is a time window of 4 seconds where the buttons must be pressed).

 shall we connect the teach pendant to another controller, which is running well, to check the teach pendant firmware upgradation .

Thanks ..Problem has been shorted out when we connect the teach pendant with other running controller with RW 5.15..
