Help Needed: Configuring GigE Camera with YuMi Robot for University Project
Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a university project with the YuMi robot and need assistance with integrating a GigE camera. The camera is attached to the robot’s right hand, but I’m having trouble configuring it to capture and retrieve images.
Here are the details of my setup:
- Robot Model: YuMi [https://new.abb.com/products/robotics/robots/collaborative-robots/yumi/single-arm]
- Camera Model: GigE Camera [https://www.e-consystems.com/gige-cameras/ar0234-global-shutter-full-hd-gige-camera.asp]
- Software Used: RobotStudio and FlexPendant
Despite my attempts to access the camera through both RobotStudio and the FlexPendant, I haven’t been able to get a response. I’m looking for guidance on the following:
- Camera Activation: What steps should I follow to activate and properly configure the GigE camera with the YuMi robot?
- Image Retrieval: How can I set up the system to capture and retrieve images from the GigE camera?
- Integration Tips: Are there specific settings or configurations required to ensure seamless operation between the GigE camera and the YuMi robot?
Any advice, troubleshooting tips, or references to relevant documentation would be greatly appreciated.
