How do I create a new Virtual Device in RobotStudio? It says the "Name" field is read-only...
in RobotStudio
I'm just learning how to do IO stuff with Robot Studio and so I made some new digital IO signals. In the Configuration>I/O System>Signal page I can see that these new signals are not assigned to any device and have no device mapping, and I'd like to test some stuff out there. I'm assuming, since I'm just using a simulated controller, that I won't have an actual devices and I'll need to add a Virtual Device. But When I go to do that (Configuration>I/O System>Virtual Device, and right click to create a New Virtual Device) the window that opens up has the name field read-only, so I can't make anything. See the attached picture.
Am I just doing something wrong here?
