Running in production window but I need the operator to hold the deadman switch
I have an ABB IRC5 robot with an Omnicore pendant, which currently has two modes: Auto and Manual. However, I need a mode that allows the robot to run in the production window, while ensuring that the operator remains inside the cell with their hand on the deadman switch. The PLC is sending coordinates to the robot, so running in Manual mode is not an option, as the operator could switch to another routine, potentially causing damage to the robot.
