I have set up a system using a single robot and a positioner as described in the help files. I cannot however teach a target that references the external axis. The "modify external axis" table is greyed out when I attempt to modify it.

Have I missed something out in the setup that is not covered in the help menu?

    You have probably missed to active mech units.
    You can find it in the Controller menu.
