Conveyor Tracking DSQC-377B

Hello Guy's,
Have an old 377B module and the configuration although it works is set for a ScalingFactor of 2000? 
The conveyor tracking is not reliable and when I try to change from 0 to finepoint move I get quite a change in the tracking position.
encoder is 2000ppr and 305mm movement (26,160 pulses per M). This 2000 scaling factor perplexes me?
