Modify curve also displace curve

Hi All,

I create a curve (Curve - Line) using 2 points on the edge of my part on robotstudio station.

Then I want to extend it (Modify Curve - Extend Curve), then the curve is not at the same position.

I tried with different ways to create the curve and different modifications options, it always displaces the curves after the modification. 

I also tried on 2 other stations, with different robots, different robotwares, and it does the same...

I used these functions a lot in the past (years ago) and never had this issue as far as I remember.

Anyone else having that? or any idea What I am doing wrong?

I tried with RS2025 and RS2024 and get the same situation as you do. I'm not sure if this is a bug for RS or not.

Anyway, I found an walkaround for this issue. For the line created, I modify its local origin to the starting point of the line and then do the extension operation. In this way, the curve does not move to another place afterward.

thanks a lot for confirming and for finding a walkaround!

I have the feeling that the software is offseting the position from local origin twice, so if the local origin is ont on the curve, it moves the curve...

I tried now the "join curve", and it is same chaos. But I cannot make it to work correctly with changing the local origin...

Anyone knows what's going on?
