Ethernet communication between IRC5 and Schneider PLC

Hello,

I'm looking for some quick guide, how to properly configure robot controller to enable ethernet communication with Schneider Modicon m340.
Can anyone please write quick guide how to properly setup ethernet device for it?

Does the controller have Ethernet/IP option?

Do you have the manual for that option or do you need it?  It is not too difficult to set up, so don't panic.

  • Hello,
We did almost everything by manual and it's still not working properly,
Only EDS files what we have are adapter configs for Schneider plc (noc0401 card), it's from robotware,
For now, there is Festo valve terminal which is working as it should,
Setup of Festo is for adapter and it's working, so we made same configuration for plc, different ip and setup based on manual.
Festo Vendor ID is 26, Device Type 12 and Product code 14064, this is in the list, where we can choose, it was probably installed somehow by previous person.
I didn't find any files or the way how to add Schneider plc or the card used,
so we used default configuration and it's probably not correct,
it's used Vendor id 75, Device type 43 and product code 1.
The problem is that when it's trying to establish connection, there is error on flexpendant that there is "Wrong identity for EtherNet/IP adapter,
    The correct identity is:
    Vendor ID 243,
    Device type 12,
    Product Code 2052,"
When I set those, it's not working at all.
From what I found that the number should be related to Schneider electric.
Should we import it in same way as Festo is (how to do it) and where to get those files?
