ABB Master–Slave robots: power ON Master first or Slave?
in OmniCore
We are using two ABB robot cabinets configured in a Master–Slave setup, where the Master robot is in one cabinet and the Slave robot is in another cabinet. Currently, both cabinets are powered using two separate power switches.
Is there a recommended power-ON sequence for this setup?
Should the Master cabinet be powered ON first followed by the Slave, or should the Slave be powered ON before the Master?
Also, what are the possible risks (e.g., calibration loss, communication errors) if the correct power sequence is not followed?
