Touch Test Failed
Options
Hello,
I am having a problem with my flex pendant, I had come back to it this morning and it seems the touch screen doesn't work, when I press on the "abb" button it doesnt come up, I can see everything fine, its almost like it just won't recieve the input of my pushing on the screen, I restarted the robot, and when it was first booting I saw a message that said Touch Test Failed, I am just curious of the next action I should take.
Thanks in Advance,

It sounds like the device has failed. Do you have another robot that you can swap FlexPendants with to verify? You will probably need to contact ABB to see about replacing it.Russell Drown0

I did swap it out with one of our other robots, the flex pendant I swaped it with worked fine, should I contact my sales rep then to get another?Dustin0

You might contact your local ABB Support organization in the US, its 1-800-Help365 I think, maybe they offer repair or exchange for the FlexPendant.
