multimove station from existing system
Hi
I am getting a problem when creating a MultiMove station from an existing system. this system uses origional controller, drive and external option keystrings.
The problem occurrs when I select the 3rd irb1600_7_145_A_01 robot.
A message box appears suggesting that "there is no library defined for the type 'default' . you must manually search for the library" ,
When selecting the type of robot manually the same message is reported and if you cancel the search the message changes to "the controller was shut down because no library was set for type default".
IS THIS A BUG !!!... very frustrating !
How can I work around this?

Hi Sturner,
If you mail the keystrings (or a backup) for the system to me, I can take a look at it. Use Private Messenger.

Hi
If you have any other mechanism in your system like a conveyor you will get this kind of behaviour.Per Svensson

I have not seen the customers installation... but from the backup it appears that there is 3 X IRB1600 and 2X postioners, not sure what type of postioners though.
I guess that robotstudio cannot determin what model to load and therfore suggests 'default' which causes a problem.
Is there a workaround?
Many thanks

Hi
Just select any librarycomponent so that the systems startup. Then select system configuration(right click on the controller node) and you may figure out what kind of positoners your customer has, at least how many logical axis.Per Svensson
