conveyor tracking
I have succeeded in setting up conveyor tracking in RS, the help was quite good, but it stopped at the point at which one would begin to teach points on the coordinated work object. In the real world, you run an object past the sync switch with the RAPID on waitwobj, then teach the targets. However, in RS the only way to start/stop the conveyor is to press play, which tries to put the VC in auto, so making it a bit tedious to use the real-world method. Any ideas on this?
I am attempting to become familiar with this in order to train people on RS with conveyor tragking in a paint application. So the next step is to take a real robot backup, load it into the VC and set it up in order to teach new parts etc. This does not appear to be simple. Anybody been there, done that?

Hi Dean
What I usally do when programming Conveyor Tracking is that I create all the targets when the part is located at the baseframe of the conveyor.
