Position Swiches on Axis 1
Hey guys, I cant figure out, how to define DI's from the Position Swich. The plug is Connected to XR8 but whats next? Wich poard are they connected to? No help from the manuals.
If anybody knows, let me know,

Hello Bill
The position switches are terminated at the XP/XT8 connector in the IRC5. You must connect wiring at XP/XT8 to supply a 24v and wiring to connect to your I/O card. The XP/XT8 connector is shown in the IRC5 Product Manual (3HAC021313-001) circuit diagrams section. This shows the connections from the robot base to XP/XT8 connector. Use the circuit diagrams in the Product Manual of your Robot type to see the connections from the switches to the robot base.
