S4C+ problem binding TP key to routine

I've tried to attach a TP key (P3) to a routine but am having trouble. The code to attach works using a simboard input with "input" mode set via MMC and no code load errors. The result, when P3 is pressed, is the below error:

MC:0 wm_serv.c 1944 cab_open_symbo(connection) status -102

I'm sure I missed something in the setup but this is code that has been used before. This system has the multitask option.
