RAB 5.10 Released free download

RAB 5.10 is released. No license or registration is required to download it or to use it. This way you can start developing a RAB application at one computer and easily move it to another computer, for example. RAB 5.10 is also included as freeware on the RobotWare 5.10 CD.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The new business model does not mean ABB will lower the level of ambition for the PC and FlexPendant SDKs. The expectation is that the use of these developer tools will continue to grow, providing ABB customers with tailor-made operator interfaces for the IRC5 robot controller.

RAB 5.10 is 100 % compatible with RAB 5.09. Several bugs have been corrected and there is also some new functionality. The User's Guide has been improved. If you are struggling with localization of a FlexPendant application, for example, you are advised to read the revised chapter of the 5.10 User?s Guide. There is also, among other things, a new chapter for PC SDK beginners: Create a simple PC SDK application.

When you have downloaded the installation package you are strongly recommended to read the included RAB 5.10 Release Notes.

Note! Virtual IRC5, which most RAB users utilize for application development still needs to be purchased, separately or with RobotStudio.

Note! VS 2008 is not yet supported.
