I am trying to create a multitasking routing to monitor I/O signals and stop robot with a process fault if signals are not set during running routine? Any idea on how to accomplish this.

Greetings,
If you want to monitor signals in such a manner, I would suggest using trap routines instead of a background task. The state of the signals, on or off, would be monitored when you call your routines when you CONNECT the traps. Since the signal may or may not go into the necessary state, I think you really might look into traps.

Hi,
If you want to use multi tasking you have to have the option enabled first ie you have to have paid to use the multi tasking.
If you have this option and want to use multi tasking then send me a current backup and I will add a background task to it so you can then load in your background module.
Regards.
Mike Metcalfe.
