We are having problems with our weld guns. unfortunately they don't have prox's installed to monitor if the guns are open or closed.

Our weld engineers have insisted that we send a weld request to the weld timer after a tip dress to make a current check to monitor if the tips are clean. However this often results in the tips sticking together.

I need to make an additional check afterwards while the gun is supposed to be open to check if they are in fact open or not.

Does anyone know how I can activate the weld timer without using a spotML or if I can change a certain spot number to not close the gun.
