Read External Axes Position
I have a seperate motion task that controls two external axes in Independant mode. Since these two axes are not loaded with a kinematic model there is no TCP for them. So I can not use CRobT or CPos to do this. What I want to do is read the current position of the two axes. Is there a way to do this if the axes is defined as independant and in a seprate motion task other than the robots task? davidlanham2008-2-27 1:15:59

Hello,
I'm not sure about this function on IRC5, but try to read about the "TestSignDefine" instruction and "TestSignRead" function.
This can help for your problem.
Good luck.
Bye.
Sylvain.
