VBA downwards not compatible?
Hello,
Recently I have made an VBA addin (dll) for a customer of ours, an end-user (we are system integrator). I programmed the addin in MS Visual Studio 6.0 on RS3.0, the end-user has RS 2.1 and gets an run time error "Type mismatch". I saw in the Johns bar topic a similar item. Does it mean that I have to uninstall RS3.0, install RS2.1, and then compile the addin?
I don't like this idea, since I lost my RS3.0 CD....

Hi Jan-Jaap,
Yes this means that you need to compile it on a computer with RS21.
Maybe if you bribe the support with something nice they might have a computer with RS21 + VS and could compile it for you?
