Sick-Stegmann Encoder
I have an encoder from Sick-Stegmann. The output is HTL Push/Pull. It is rated at 60ma at 24vdc.
Has anybody had trouble or success with this encoder when connected to a DSQC 377A.
On my first system I connected one up and the 1A and 1B LED lights did not work. I connected a 480ohm resistor between 0vdc and each channel which appeared to work.
On the next system I did the same. The LED's work but the value in the jog window does not change. Is there something else needed to be done? I have checked voltage and current. All seem to be within the specs for the Qtracker. I have also checked pulling the resistor high instead of low and also changing resistor values to draw more current but so far unsuccessful.

Hi
To see the value in the tpu, you need to connect to the wobj.
The easiest way to do that is to run PPacal and select the right conveyor
