how to connect abb & PLC

hi, i want to connect the abb robot and the plc. i have a project that use many sensor and flowmeter, and also use the abb robot for the movement. i'm confuse about how to connect the abb and the plc.(i want to make the robot as a slave, and the plc as master). as i know, in the irc5 option, there are only profiBus, interBus and allen-bradley protocol i/o, but i use nais plc that use modBus protocol.

so, is there any suggestion for my case?

    Hi carmila,

     

    Use DeviceNet protocol, it is a standard protocol and its easy use them, you need to add to your plc a deviceNet card and configue it on robot.
