Electronically Linked Motors

Anyone have experience with Electronically Linked Motors Robotware option?
I have a mecunit with three singles that are linked together. If I declare unique logical axes for each single, jogging jogging with joystick works OK. If I declare the same logical axis for each single, jogging is unpredictable. Problem is, I want only one logical axis for the mecunit, and I want to jog.
Anyone seen this problem, or know a solution?
