Switching running mode when using VFP

Hi,
I'm working on a project in Robotstudio 5.10 with two independent controllers, whenever I try to step through the program and manipulate the position of the robot the VFP/controller (virtual flex pendant) starts so switch between Automatic and Manual running modes. Happens on all multi-controller enviroments that I've created. Is it something that is known and is there a fix for it?
The control of the controller is then taken from the VFP back to Robotstudio, this results in that I can only step through one line of code, then have to take back the access rights back from Robotstudio to the VFP, I can not manipulate the position (jog) of the robot either from the VFP (Not that big of an issue, but stepping through code is)
