RS 5.10 2008 & 5.11 hardware requirements

Can anyone advise on minimum hardware requirements for RobotStudio Offline.  Specifically the graphics card.  Is 512 MB enough?

    Hi Moses,

    Using the full functionality of RobotStudio we recommend a high performance PC. As with any other graphics heavy application, the better PC the smoother the software will run. (Yes, a high performance separate 512 MB graphics card should work fine.)

    See minimum recommend hardware in attached screenshot from the release notes of RS. Of course, the required hardware depends on what you plan to use RS for. Now in the upcoming version of RS (5.11) the online functionality (old RobotStudio Online) is integrated. Using only this part should probably work fine with a PC with less performance.

    I've recently had suggested that I even need to go to 4 Gig RAM, but find this a bit absurd?

    Yes, I run XP and have 2GB RAM and it works fine..
