size limitation for importing large cad m

I'm not able to import Large cad models to the Robot studio.

Please clear me the following doubts
1). Is there any limitations in RS 5.10 for importing large files?
2). if so What is the maximum size which i can import to Robot studio?

    Hi Sunil,

    What sizes are we talking about? Maybe you can decrease the detail level of your files before importing them to RS? Does RS crash or do you get any error message in the output window?

    There is no 'maximum size' of CAD files but it will of course decrease the performance of RS when importing huge files. This is of course also depending on your hardware.

    hi Anders,

    im attaching the screen shots of Robot Studio when i tried to import drawing into it. the screen shot of actual drawing in CATIA is also attached.

    the drawing was in igs format and size is 140481 KB.
