Installing RS5.11
sturner
✭✭
in RobotStudio
When Installing 5.11, should I expect any problems with existing stations and virtual controllers? <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I.E. uninstalling 5.10 first
Will I loose information?
Does it use the same library folders / media pool?
Will installing overwrite existing files?
Is licensing done in the same way?
Many thanks

Hi
Have you read the release noteInstallation
RobotStudio 5.11 will automatically upgrade any existing installation of RobotStudio
5.10 or 2008. Any previous installation of RobotStudio Online will remain untouched. How to migrate from RobotStudio 5.10 to RobotStudio 5.11
All your existing stations, libraries, geometries, controller systems, and add-ins can be
directly reused in RobotStudio 5.11. RobotStudio 5.11 is compatible with previous
releases of RobotWare (see also section Known Limitations).
Note: Stations or libraries created in RobotStudio 5.11 cannot be used in RobotStudio
5.10.Regards
