at a certain machine we have the robot connected via profibus to other parts of the machine.

 

is it possible to send out (from robotside) an output that stays 0.5 seconds "1", go back to "0" for 0,5 seconds, becomes again 1 for 0.5 seconds, goes down to 0 again for 0.5 seconds and so on........... while the robot is in automatic mode......

 

does anyone has an idea how I can program this without timebased interrupts or multitasking....I was thinking about cross connections and filters but didn't found the solution yet.....
