    Hi
Seams you have a problem with your RobotWare installation.
Make sure that you have installed RW 5.11

If you have any other RW installed try to create a system with another RW than 5.11 to see if you have the same problem

    Hi,

It seems like you are running on XP64. Unfortunately, there has been a
regression in the VC for 5.11 that no longer runs on XP64. We are
currently investigating the problem. Meanwhile, you can try to exchange
the affected files with the versions distributed with RobotStudio 2008,
    see attachment.

    webwiz/772/RobVCCommon_2008.zip

Replace the original RobVCCommon by the attachment above by proceeding as follows:
    1. Rename the folder

C:Program Files (X86)Common FilesABB Industrial ITRobotics ITRobVCCommon
    to RobVCCommon_511

    2. Download and unzip the attachment above

    3. Copy the folder to the path
C:Program Files (X86)Common FilesABB Industrial ITRobotics IT

    4. Rename the folder downloaded folder to the original name "RobVCCommon"

Now, you should have a 'new' RobVCCommon-folder with the files from RobotStudio 2008 and a backuped folder with the RobVCCommon-files from 5.11. Please restart RobotStudio and try if you can start a controller system.

Note that the exact name of your 'Program Files' and 'Common Files' folder may differ from system to system depending on language and OS version. The paths above are referring to YOUR SPECIFIC program & common files folders, which means that the names of the paths above may need some adjustment.
