Direct upgrade from RS5.xx to RS5.10

I am new to this forum.

I have RS 5.xx Version.
Can I upgrade this to RS 5.10 directly? [Like installation over another installation]
Will that give error on license issues while installing?
Or

I need to uninstall the RS 5.xx and then install RS 5.10.

    The latest release of RobotStudio is 5.11, which is the version I would recommend. Upgrading should uninstall previous installations of RobotStudio. During system test we ensure that the previous version RobotStudio can be upgraded to the latest version. In this case, 5.10 and 5.11, respectively. If you are on a earlier version than that, I would recommend you to uninstall manually first.
