Conveyor Tracking using Rapid and C#

Is it possible to create an application in C# that feeds RAPID object data points (X, Y, Theta values) to the robot, which will then fetch these objects (during live runtime not under simulation using Robot Studio)?
I'm planning on having, as physical inputs to the C# code, a proximity switch (for rising and falling edge of the object) and a conveyor tracking encoder (for realtime tracking of X location). Is this possible? If so, can you direct me to some documentaion that will allow me to program this properly?
