need help,please

dear all,

we have already programmed IRB 640 m2000 and sent it to our customer. There are some error, name error, and our customer directly use c-start. As result, the system and all program is gone. We don't have the backup system, because we never install the system (our senior said that the system is downloaded by ABB person in MAlaysia).A?

I read from the manual for RW 4.0 S4Cplus, that if the controller has no system, the things that I must do is to create new system, using robotware key, and then load program from backup ( we only have program backup, and not backup system).

But, the robotware key is also gone. so what should I do?

What should I do? I have already contact ABB in my country, and they said, they will contact Sweden for tracing the key, but until now, there is no response. Our customer complaining about it. I'm really confused. Can someone help us to solve this problem?

Can I borrow some key?Are there any way that I can do to create new system?

do you have a "program backup?"

If you have a file key.id in the backup I can help you read it so you can get the key.

thank you for your response. but i also don't know what kind of backup that they have. it's already long ago, and i'm a new staff, so i don't know the backup, file, etc. But , finally, ABB Sweden can send us again the key. . Fiew.. thanks....

Hi

This is easy to do yourself if you have a backup and robinstall.
Just use the update function and use the browse mediapool and select the backup directory and it will display the system together with the key at the bottom

Thanks for your advice. The RobInstall CD also lost. I can't find it. I've already ask to ABB Jakarta for send the copy for me. When the CD come, I will try your suggestion.
