You need to build the system yourself using system builder.Per Svensson

Just to make it easier here are 2 updated xml files so that when you start a 4600 vc it will automatically load the right 4600 lib + that you will be able to select 4600 in the ABB Library dropdown.
Just exchange "MechunitLibraryMap.xml" in RobotStudioLibraryMapping and
"LibraryTypes.xml" in RobotStudioABB LibraryRobotsThese files are the english versions
Robot modells must exist in RobotStudioABB LibraryRobots

Hi,
RobotStudio does indeed support the IRB4600, but the models need to be downloaded from www.abb.com/robotics as they are not distributed with RobotStudio 5.11.01. Libraries are available for the following variants- IRB4600_20_250_IRC5_02.rslib
- IRB4600_40_255_IRC5_02.rslib
- IRB4600_60_205_IRC5_02.rslib
Use the System Builder to create the system with RobotWare 5.11.01 and then point out the corresponding robot library when asked.

Hi,
I've loaded the RS-Libary-files for the IRB4600 and tried to set up a system. Unfortunately an error occurs.
If A?I try to set up a system from the layout, a cfg-File is missing. So I pointed to directory of the IRB4600 and there are for the same type 2 different cfg-Files (EXT_4600_2.05_45_1.cfg, INT_4600_2.05_45_1.cfg).
So is there an easier way to get that system running?
If I choose one of these files RS displays, that there is no mediapool defined. So what's wrong in my suggestions?

Hi,
You need to create your own system with help of System Builder (placed in the Offline tab) for the IRB 4600 robots. In RobotStudio 5.12 will they come with the installation, and work as all other ABB models in RS.Best regards,
