When to count license period?

I want to know when license period count starts. I guess 12 months license is available for  360 days. I mean when  the 1st day is. Is it the day a customer receives the licese or the day a customer installs the license? Which is it?

One more question,

If we order 24 months license, is it possible to use the same RS version for 24 months? Or do we have to update after 12 months though we have 24 months license? We want to use the same RS version as long as possible.

Hi Yu,

The license starts to run as soon as it is registered in our system. So the 'first' day is when the customer received the license information via e-mail.

 

I belive that the license will then be valid for 24 months.

It is importent to always follow up with the latest upgrade releases so you are working on a supported version.
