Hello -
Please provide instruction/information on how to use extended work range in RobotStudio for IRB660 -
Created a system with the option Extended work range axis 1 +/-220 (which for some reason requires the Electronic Position Switch option 810-1 <-- please explain the requirement and what it is used for).
How do you get a VC/System in RS that can use the extended work range?
Creating a system with this option and launching the mechanism JOG control only gives you the standard +/-180 for axis 1.
We are attempting to show this functionality/option to customer for consideration of IRB660 for a de-palletizing/palletizing cell.

Hello Thomas,
It is possible to run with extended work range in RS but you need to manually change the arm limits in the VC.
1. Create a system with option for 660 with extended wok range.
2. Start System
3. Go to Offline>Configuration>Motion>Arm
4. Change limits of axis 1 to +- 3.83972 (220 deg)
5. Restart controller => The limits of the RS model is now updated.
I don't know what you mean that the EPS option is required. I created a simple system as shown below.Best regards,
