Cutting path in a .NC file

Is it possible to import into RobotStudio a cutting path from within a .nc file.

 

My customer wants to use a robot and track to perform a milling application. the cutting paths are allready available within a .nc file.

 

Is anybody doing this, If so how? is this what the IRBCAM addin can achieve?

Hi Simon,

 

I have made an Add-In that can import some different coordinate files into RS, one of them is .nc files. Please test it and let me know how it works.

 

The dll-file should be placed in the "Addins" folder: C:Program FilesABB Industrial ITRobotics ITRobotStudio 5.11BinAddins

have you got an example file to import in RS? Because we have an customer who wantA's to do the same thing. But we canA't get an example file from him at this time.
