Good C# books

Simple question today, I'm looking for a good C# book that cuts to the chase and explains how everything ticks with good examples.  So are there any good recommendations?

    I can highly recommend the following:
    "Pro C# 2008 and the .NET 3.5 Platform" from APress

    It explains the basics and a lot of the new and fancy stuff. Does not cover EF in detail and LINQ at all, but it is a really good and thorough introduction...
