Want to use an IRC5 controller to operate all of our attachments WITHOUT the robot being present.... ie like a test stand. Any Idea on how to create that type of system?

.... put another way.... Can you use an IRC5 controller without connecting a robot to it?...or...Is there a way to run Rapid code in a real IRC5 control, while the physical robot arm is disconnected?...Mike Kegley0

You need a special drive key that will allow you to select no manipulator. You can order the robot this way or contact your local ABB support organization to obtain a new key.Russell Drown0
