where can I get the manual?

Is there a manual available? I have only just got this software and started playing but keep getting and error each time I try to build/deploy  - "ScreenMaker -> Build Error -> Screen  - Line 0 : Predefined type 'System.Object' is not defined or imported [6]    19/05/2009 16:17:07    ScreenMaker

Hi. RW 5.12 and RS 5.12 and SM 5.12.
So form this there is one at leats available for Sm 5.11??

Hello,

 

You should find the Application Manual for ScreenMaker under:

"c :Program FilesABB Industrial ITRobotics ITScreenMaker 5.12"

 

However, the error you are getting sounds a bit more serious than what would be covered by the manual.   Can you send more information on the state of your PC (what was installed before,  other programs, etc)

Hi Steve, Thanks for your input. I found the manual.

I have uninstalled all my ABB products. Done a windows update (no
updates necessary). Then I reloaded RS 5.12 and screenmaker 5.12 CTP.
Launched robot studio and opened my saved station. synched it to the VC
and then launched screenmaker. But upon loading I get this error "unable to get the .NET Compact Framework folder". I OK this and then a few more detailed errors are dispalyed and then the application starts. I can do stuff like buttons and events etc but when I press build it shows the error mentioned in previous posts.
Any ideas?

Hi

Try to load .NETCF from "http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=e3821449-3c6b-42f1-9fd9-0041345b3385". Try with .NETCF2.0.
